GATES - INTERSECTION 2016

Gates will be performing at this years Intersection in Toronto presented by Burn Down the Capital and Contact Contemporary Music. It will be part of day two taking place at Yonge and Dundas Square and will see Gates expanded to a eight piece band. The lineup will include core members Bryan W. Bray (guitar), Joel Beauchamp (percussion & synth), Lucas Gadke (bass) and Laura C. Bates (violin) and will feature Raphael Weinroth-Browne (cello), James Beardmore (synth & electronics) Karen Ng (tenor sax & clarinet) & Nick Buligan (trumpet).

This will be the closest performance in all the live iterations and ensembles to what the eventual studio recording of 'Vas' will sound like for those keeping track of the variations over the last two years. Ideally this will happen again but organizing large ensembles like this is challenging to say the least so do your best not to miss out!

Gates plays at 5:30 pm on the main stage.
